Projection mapping of the vertical wooden bars of the Rehearsal Hall at the Isabel Bader.
Writing custom web-based projection mapping and music visualization software is a pasttime of mine. This particular projection mapping and audio visualization project had 138 vertcial slats of wood, to be mapped at the Rehearsal Hall of the Isabel Bader Centre of Performing Arts in Kingston, Ontario.
Each vertical bar worked out to be 6px wide after it was mapped from across the hall. From there the vertical orientation of the bars were used to visualize various FFT algorithms using audio from the musicians performing that night.
